Experience: 4 to 8 Years Designation: Technical Writer Job Description: Responsibilities: Ø Interface with technical professionals in the writing, editing, and publication of various types of documents such as specifications, manuals, reports, plans, training material and presentations Ø Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation Ø Collaborating with developers and managers to clarify technical issues Ø Restructure content as per given template, ensure logical flow in content Ø Liaising with subject matter experts and sales and marketing specialists Ø Research a variety of assigned topics and develop writing plans and outlines Ø Track and monitoring flow of all documents from inception to distribution of final copies Ø Identify and correct problem areas as they arise Ø Provide quality assurance check for all document deliverables Ø Responsible for documentation for all areas of assigned work Ø Maintain documentation standards Ø Support technical writing and editing of all documentation work products Ø Create/ Maintain Quality Processes and SOP Documentation Ø Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and Business team Ø Suggest usability and process improvements to local development teams. Desired Candidate Profile Ø Minimum 4 years experience in technical writing Ø Good experience in writing and editing documents for Developer audience, such as API reference docs, developer guides, user manuals Ø Ability to peer review technical documents for grammar, content and style of writing. Ø Ability to interpret technical verbiage and terms and communicate in easily understandable terms Ø Understanding of technology terms Ø Excellent time management and prioritization skills and ability to work under very aggressive deadlines Ø Capability to handle sensitive and complex issues with discretion and good judgment Ø Handle multiple projects and perform independently or in a team environment
