Amazon S3 / Glacier expert needed

Yesterday I set up Amazon Glacier backup storage on my S3 account and it somehow converted my entire S3 account into a Glacier storage so my live files are no longer accessible. I restored the urgent files manually (and temporarily) but I need to permanently restore a lot more files to S3.
This should be fairly easy for someone that knows that they are doing.
