The aim of the assessment is to demonstrate that i have mastered and understood the key concepts covered during the module. I will need to:

i) demonstrate an understanding of dyslexia, by evaluating:

• theories of development

• research evidence showing how social and/or cognitive skills develop

ii) demonstrate you are able to apply this evaluation to a practical context by focusing on:

• how teaching and learning techniques in an identified mainstream classroom setting need to be adapted

• what the effects of integration may be on the individual learner and the classroom environment as a whole
