  Hello! I want to apply to this contest, but may I ask some questions?
  1. There are two characters attached, do we need to draw both of them?
  2. The second character(with octopus head), what's his role in the game? Playable character? enemy? or AI teammates (which is pretty uncommon in roguelike games, but there's nothing wrong to mention, haha)?

  Are you looking for 3D or 2D art? Because the models in attached files are 3D. And what exactly do you mean by "80-s style"? Also, maybe a little bit more info about the game itself - what genre is it, or what is the general mood/plot or it? Thanks in advance!

  By "80's" do you mean the woodcut-style black lines on the first image? And which character am I doing--one of my own making, the orange-suited detective you have, or the octopus-headed man you have?

     Hi Amber, where are looking for 80´s pop culture style for context. The main character is the guy with the raincoat and hat, and the octopus is an example of an enemy, you can use it too if you want. Actually, we are looking for an illustrator to work with us in the general style of the game (title screen, presskit artwork, characters, etc.). Our choice criteria will be based on personal style.
