<Overview>
Please collect product information on vehicles or service information that have or will have the technologies described in the “Technology Description” section below.

<Technology Description>
This system avoids a collision of an own vehicle with another vehicle or a pedestrian in front of the own vehicle by sounding an alarm to a driver of the own vehicle or automatically braking the own vehicle when the own vehicle is about to collide with the other vehicle or the pedestrian.
A problem with this system is that even though the driver of the own vehicle can avoid the collision by braking the own vehicle or turning a steering wheel himself/herself, the driver may feel inconvenienced when the system sounds the alarm or automatically braking the own vehicle.
In order to solve the problem, this system uses a camera installed inside the own vehicle to take a picture of the driver's face. When determining that the driver sees the other vehicle or the pedestrian in front of the own vehicle and can avoid the collision himself/herself based on the picture, the system does not sound the alarm or automatically braking the own vehicle.
