<Overview>
Please collect product information on vehicles or service information that have or will have technologies described in the “Technology Description” section below.

<Technology Description>
This technology is about a device used to change the settings of the advanced driver-assistance systems such as cruise control (i.e., constant speed travel control), adaptive cruise control (i.e., preceding-vehicle following-travel control), and control keeping the vehicle within the lane, in accordance with voice commands from the driver (i.e., through voice recognition processing for recognizing an utterance of the driver).

The driver of the vehicle can change settings of the advanced driver-assistance systems. For example, the setting is a target speed (preset speed) of the cruise control. The device recognizes the voice commands including the vehicle speed (words regarding a vehicle speed given by the driver through voice recognition processing). Then, the device sets the target speed of the cruise control to the vehicle speed included in the voice commands. However, when the device erroneously recognizes the words (voice commands) given by the driver, the settings may be erroneously changed. For instance, the target speed may be set to a speed that the driver does not want to set.
To solve this problem, this technology is designed to:
(1) execute voice recognition processing for recognizing an utterance of the driver;
(2) determine whether a setting change request of the driving support control is issued by the utterance;
(3) when it has been determined that the setting change request is issued, cause the notification device to notify the driver of a content of the recognized setting change request, and of information on a predetermined approval operation for the setting change request; and
(4) when the driver performs an operation corresponding to the notified approval operation using an operating device (e.g., switch), change the settings of the advanced driver-assistance systems in accordance with the setting change request. Please search for this technology.
