Resumen del concurso

BACKGROUND:

- Looking for simple logo to go on the front of a sweatshirt and to be utilized on my website.
- My company, Cali8Fold, has Buddhism as its core and a focus in freediving along the rugged California
coastline.
- I’m not the best freediver, Buddhist, or human, but that’s me and I embrace that I’m not perfect. I like to
have whiskey and the occasional cigar. I’m very non-traditional and would like my logo to reflect as such.

REQUIREMENTS:

- All work submitted must be original.
- Any images used in the creation of the design you must own the rights to use.
- Final submitted artwork must be in jpg at 300dpi/ppi.
- Incorporate “8Fold” into the design.
- Don’t use cursive font.
- High quality images using black and white only.
- After payment of contest winner, I own all rights to the image.

MOOD:

- I’m NOT looking for: rainbows, sunsets, dolphins.
- This logo should appeal to the 30-50 year old, male, active outdoor crowd.
- I’m very non-traditional and would like my logo to reflect as such.
- Spearfishing companies have aggressive looking logos and I would like something similar for my
freediving company.
- Logo should be serious and minimal.
- Simplicity is encouraged. What comes to mind are polo, psycho bunny, etc.
- Please see the attached for inspiration. I don’t own the rights to any of these pictures.
- Incorporating California into the logo somehow would be great.
