In this contest, we are looking for a designer to create an eye-catching artwork image describing an ion trajectory into a complex crystal composed of thousands of isolated atoms and molecules. The image dimensions must follow the description indicated in the attached Word document.

In the Word document, it is also visible the generic idea of a good image (second image) and the concept of ion channeling (third image). The starting point should be the third image and colors must be selected to be really eye-catching. Then, several molecules should be overlapped and even complex DNA chains should be present, although the focus should be on the ion channeling.

Combine all of the above and create artwork similar to the image provided in the Word document (the one with lots of atoms, molecules and colors).

We will only select the candidate whose image is similar to the one on the link and then add nice and beautiful colors and molecules and a small DNA chain. But if the candidate does not start with something very similar to the image shown on the link above, then it will be rejected and/or 1/2 stars maximum.

NOTE 2: it seems that candidates are reading 'what they want' and not what is written in the details. E.g. it is written 'Then, several molecules should be overlapped and even complex DNA chains should be present, although the focus should be on the ion channeling.' which means that the focus cannot be the DNA chain. Several proposals are focused on the DNA chain. Those are immediately rejected

NOTE 3: Candidates are drawing atoms as if the were "balls" from a Chrismas tree"!!

“I was expecting 80 entries according to the platform but only 55 appear. From the 55 Ayham I. created the best artwork. The only problem was with the "lack of communication" in real-time. Sometimes is important to clarify situations and doubts that can be useful for one party. In general terms, I'm happy (I give 80% of approval).”

#39 the molecules are tbere but the notion and perception of a travalling ion in the channel could be improved. Not so eye-catching as the one with 4 stars.

#33 : duplicate the hexagonal structure, include molecules and a small DNA chain. What is missing is the similarity to the second image posted in the word file.

  Hi! Check my new entry #35 . I made some changes on this option- 1. Changed structure from layered hexagonal to dimond crystal structure (4 connections from each sphere) 2. Add molecules. 3. Color scheme. Its test render (128 samples, 1920x1080px) and it takes like 7-8 minutes for each render, without modelling, texturing etc... The final render may take about 1 hour or more after all settings.

The starting point has to be the third image, i. e., an ion moving along a set of millions of atoms. The bonds of the atoms have to be observed.
