Hi,

We're a headwear company and we're looking for a creative designer to help us create appealing designs. We'd like to establish a long-term relationship. Knowledge of embroidery is a great asset because of the limitations of the machines. We can do both 3D/puff embroidery and flat, but you have to be specific as to which part are in 3D and which aren't. Multi-color 3D is difficult to make, so keep that in mind.

In our first collection, we create hats for emergency reliefs campaigns. For example, we need a design for the Nepal disaster that struck them on April 25th. For every hats we sell, a portion of the profit will go toward buying food, water and shelter to help them. We will create designs like that to help raise funds and provide essential resources for the recovery of the countries in need.

The second collection is all about the holidays around the world. We recently had the 4th of July in USA and the 14th of July for France. We need festive designs that reflect the holiday of the country.

I have attached an example of a snapback we've made for Canada's day.

To resume, the scope of this project is to show us 2 designs, one for each collection :

- 1 design fit for embroidery to support the Nepal earthquake disaster
- 1 design fit for embroidery for either for 4th of July (USA) or 14th of July (France) holidays

I reiterate that we would like to establish a long term relationship.

Here's a comment I left to a few of you guys that you might find helpful : About the two collections... One is our Holiday Classics collection and the other is for Emergency Appeals. I would like as far as possible not to merge the style of these collections. Hence, we shouldn't see the same layout for both messages.

The holidays classics collection inspire festivities, parties and good time with friends. They often feature the year or the edition of the celebration in the front design or on the side of the hat. That makes them stick to a specific year and make it easier for the customer to associate memories with it.

The emergency appeals collections have a feeling of urgency to it. They must be eye-catchy, visual, make people want to wear them not just for a special occasion, but to spread a message of caring for each others, pertaining to a specific event (ie : The earthquake in Nepal).

  We prefer to have a rather positive design and message for this collection. Words like "disaster" or anything that can be associated with something negative should be avoided.

  The design is indeed completely flat.
  But you can mix flat and 3D in your design.
