Need a logo for a game studio called Maniacal Egg.

This should be a LOGO ONLY - NO TEXT. Logo can be in color w/ shading, but must look good in black and white (i.e. flat)

Ideas we have played around with are:

Silhouette of an egg with a "maniacal" smile in it.
Egg with a shadow where horns are visible on the shadow.

We are open to other concepts, but the ideal concept should convey mischief and whimsey without conveying fear or evil.

  One of the big problems with contests is not only the COPY-PASTERS, but the contest holder itself. If he doesnt know anything about WHAT is a good logo design and WHY, then he is going to choose anything using his feeling, and that means he can choose a shit logo. That is a problem, and that is why some good designs get zero ratings and crappy designs get high ratings.

Hi all. being a designer i know its easy to get inspired from others but copying at it is as shameful act. How would you feel if someone take your original hard worked design and paste it someplace else without due credits...not a nice feeling right.. everyone wants to make a living by earning through designing here but cutting other honest designers is just so low. dont be a loser.

Hello all,

Thanks you all for your entries. There are several very promising entries, and many more with great potential. We still have not quite seen one that has captured exactly the look we're looking for.

We're looking for something that communicates "mischief", a good egg who has a little bold streak in him. We seem to be getting a lot of (a) "happy, excited and enthusiastic" or (b) "evil, devilish". What we really want is (a) with a hint of (b).

  hello CH..u r right in wat u said about entries with a or b,then it wud be nice if u don't rate them so high coz then people will get the idea dat that's wat u r luking for..so plz rate only those 4 or 5 stars which r REALLY close to wat u want.then we all can work more harder to get wat u want. My design #74 was rejected, is it bcoz u dint want gud and naughty together?? i just thought it was a lil different from other ideas..plz do share ur views like this, its encouraging,thanx!!
