This project involves modifying current code to add one more method of filing away emails recieved in Outlook. automatically.
We are an engineering firm. We currently have all engineers send (TO, CC or BCC) any email regarding a project to to the projects email address. All projects have their own number but they all go to the same email account. ex. (06002. 000 (files at [login to view URL])) or (08242. 000(files at [login to view URL])).
What this code does is: when the files at [login to view URL] account recieves any emails, it is scanned in all (TO: CC: and BCC:) fields to find any project number in that field, so that it can then file it away in the Projects folder directory on our Servers.
This system is working; but it is not working for certain users because Outlook cannot resolve the email address to include the project number, when the email is recieved. I have looked into this extensively and no luck to find a permanent solution to this. My only other option is to find a coder that can get the current code to also include reading from the subject line of an email, to find the project number there so that the email can get filed away properly.
