Respected Sir/Madam,
My name is Aditya Gupte. I graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida with a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering and started pursuing my Doctorate in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Bombay. During my Masters, I worked with scientists from NASA Glenn Research Center on finding thermo-structural deformations in Scramjet Engines, which helped them in improving the scramjet performance.
My doctoral studies further helped me pursue my passion in aerospace engineering and work with collaborating with different people and organizations. This helped me in various achievements such as working with Camera Culture Group, MIT Media Labs on one of healthcare related topics related to sleep disorders in Indians and with Makers Asylum on developing open-source satellite tracking and data acquisition system for universities. One of my recent achievements include developing a drone and Braille pad technology for the blind which will help them navigate indoors and outdoors. It was selected as one of the top 10 innovations in the world and was called for presentation at the World Drone Expo in San Diego, California in 2016.
My doctoral research was in studying the internal flow characteristics of synthetic jet using OpenFOAM and high performance computing for unsteady flow analysis. I have a good knowledge in C++ and Python since I have been using it in my research for programming solver and codes in OpenFOAM.
