Hi there, This is Bogdan from Romania. I'm a mechanical engineer, 3D designer and modeler. I have over 15 years experience designing and prototyping different devices and systems across multiple industries. I would like to collaborate with you on this project and possible future ones. In the first place you need the pattern defined, and simple perforations to form a spiral are not good enough. Second: the request for the dripping prevention is a little tricky, but could be double crossed in an elegant manner. Third, you refer to a kind of locking mechanism - this is not possible, but instead is ok to use another solution (cheaper and more efficient). I am a Indian product designer by profession with over 11 years of work experience. I am based out of germany, I have worked with many international clients. I am presently working with indian and asian clients to revamp their packaging and branding. I am very glad to see the clarity you as a client have on your requirement. And i totally understand how important it is to to have a leak proof, functional and beautiful packaging when enjoying a street side delicacy like a roll. The main idea of a food packaging has to be , that the client should enjoy the delicious flavours of the food, and appreciate the skilled hands of the cook who made them, rather than facing frustrations while eating and getting distracted by the various issues eat on the go can have. I believe I can relate to the food in question, and will also come up with something very unique for your project. I intend to create a few ideas and test out mock ups of the boxes created myself, and then move on to the graphic aspect of the packaging, once we are sure about the tearing indentations and how the branding should be visible till the end of the roll. The first 3 days will be for brainstorming new ideas, then some sketches for us to discuss, after which I shall work on some mock up and test it out. Once we are sure of the packaging dieline, we can then get started on the graphic aspect of the packaging. I would available to discuss this over skype or facetime , so that we can better understand each other.
