The Feature Short Film \"To Play With God\" is currently being written by a team of writers and producers for Creative Doorway, LLC. The casting process is also in motion and we are now starting to prepare for our post production CGI efforts. Our script will demand for surreal landscapes that surround our green-screen composited cast of actors, and we need to start to develop the look and feel of these worlds. We will not need any character design/development... just landscapes. There is also a massive difference in skill-set level between an artist that understands the cinematic finishing effects apposed to limited dimensional artwork similar to video games, etc. We need completely realistic environments that can act as indistinguishable to our audience.
The 2 sets we need developed:
The character finds himself confronted by his EGO, which is demonstrated by a mirrored replica of himself within the constructs of his subconscious mind. He we have to relinquish control in this mental/imagination constructed environment that appears to be very organic and surreal.
The second, is when a set of children, that act as a parallel story alongside our two main characters enter into a complete state of surrender. In this environment they cross over to a heavenly/magestic fantasy environment that redefines what heaven looks like. We can build on the cliche elements of nature here, and add a new level of tribal or alien craftsmanship to the landscape, etc. This again is a metaphorical expression in the movie to represent this freedom to discover what LOVE is an entangled search for identity and God.
We just wanted to elaborate on some of the details to inspire the right set of artists for the job. We will talk more in detail upon reviewing your cinematic style portfolio. Please let us know if you have your own built render farm for rendering or you use third party companies, etc. These are topics that can help us determine how many scenes and the duration.
