Hey there, It looks like you're making an electronic reclining chair and you need to update your design to use a linear actuator instead of a chain/sprocket mechanism. I did something similar for my dad a few years back: I made him a chair that would lean backwards and forwards when he a hit a switch. It was driven by a 12V linear actuator and some springs to make movement a little smoother and more consistent. It helps him take the strain off of his back while he works. Im currently using Solidworks 2020 and have been using Solidworks professionally for about 9 years now. If this sounds good to you Id be happy to discuss your design needs a little further.
