Hello! I have a small 3D-printer farm and currently use six instances of Repetier Server on Raspberry Pi's to control my printers remotely. Repetier Server allows me to control my printers and view their status, but I'd like to add more advanced control using their API (link below). More specifically, I'd like a single program that can connect to all my server instances and execute prints automatically. I'd like to be able to somehow easily configure what filament each printer has, then tell this program how many copies of a file I would like to print, and have it distribute that file to all available printers with the correct filament. I have experience with C++ but not with HTML or Json, so I'm not even sure how to approach this problem. I realize this is a vague project at this point, but the first milestone will be to create a plan and help me understand it. From there, it will be easier for me to give specific details on how it should work.
