Debug/feature-add to an existing program that uses Java client and Python server

Lost my great freelancer to Google. Prefer a replacement programmer that can do both sides of a server/client application. This specific project is to fix one or two bugs, but the intent of this project is to find someone interested in a long term relationship to continuously support the project. To do this project you will need: 1. A Windows computer system with preferably Windows 10 to be the Java client 2. A Linux system to be the Python server – We are currently using a Raspberry Pi 3. A way to network connect these two systems together through a router 4. Speak English to discuss issues If you are able to get the Python server application loaded on your Linux system for debugging the Java client and are only interested in working on the Java application fixes, then we may be able to work something out. This project is to complete the application code for a restaurant table state management system. The client system displays a map of the tables in the restaurant. The tables can be one of four states represented by four different colors. 1. available 2. occupied 3. needs cleaning 4. reserved The server keeps track of table state, wait staff to section assignment and current available wait staff. When the server receives a data update, the server will save then send the update to all the clients. The application also collects the table state and section assignment data. Other features are the assigning of tables to sections and assign sections to specific waitstaff members. Current project status is the project is close to completion. There are about 10 know bugs at this time mostly in the Java client application. There are several additional features that need to be implemented that require knowledge of both Java and Python to implement. The current bug/feature list along with a picture of the Java application is attached for review. There is several hours of work available and the project could be divided into smaller part if the Freelancer prefers. Before I award this project, the freelancer should load the current level of code and verify that they can get the application operational. Once we talk and I think you understand the requirements, I will provide the project application code. I follow Freelancer's policy of, I “do not pay until I am 100% completely satisfied”, This means no funds transferred for prepayment. I have as much time to test the code as you ask to write the code. To receive a great rating you are expected to test all code before passing it to me for testing. For all fixes that affect configuration files, new configuration files will be provided with the new code that is to be tested. Source code is expect just prior to milestones being released. As long as you complete the projects you accept on your agreed to schedule, timely bonuses will be available. If you are late, but provide good service/code I will only state that you were late but otherwise rate you well.
