There are various programs available that can take a PDF and convert it into a digital Flash Flip Book. Those I have seen require a manual (human) process to do the conversion. This is OK for producing a single brochure from a single PDF. However my product has hundreds of possible permutations, so rather than produce a single brochure which is always hundreds of pages long, I need to let clients select just the services they are interested in.
To do this I currently have a form on a website. The form has over 100 check boxes and visitors can check any combination they wish to receive information on. When they click the 'Submit' button on the form, the selected data is taken from XML in a database and produces a PDF giving the visitor just the information they require. A couple of minutes later the visitor gets an email with a link which they can click to open, view, or save the PDF.
This is where the project starts.
After the PDF is generated, I want the PDF to be converted straight into a flip book, so an email gets sent with a link to the flip book instead of a PDF. The PDF to flip book conversion needs to happen automatically after the PDF is created, not as a separate manual conversion process each time.
I don't need or want PDF to flip book software built from scratch unless there is no choice. If any existing proven flip book software can be adapted to do the job that would probably be best. There could even be software that already does this but I am not aware of it.
