what: I need a small simulation in gazebo. I want to simulate a 6 axis robot arm. The will grab a ball from the ground and drop the ball in a box.
why: We are testing a 6 axis arm, and need a quick simulation
I have read through the gazebo tutorials in the link below, but did not see instructions on planning robot movements using a motion planner
requirements:
1. Create a Gazebo/ROS simulation of a 6 axis arm, on 2 wheeled robot
2. Ensure robot-arm can pick up ball from ground
3. Ensure robot arms moves, and puts ball in a box
workflow:
1. create gazebo simulation
2. add arm
3. add box
4. add ball to scene
5. add a motion planner ([login to view URL] ) and functionality to pick up ball and drop in cabinet
6. create button/command that can trigger arm to pick up ball
7. user team-viewer to demo the simulation

Hello I am a Mechatronics Engineer with 5 years of hands on experience in Industrial robotics.
I have used gazebo on occasion and I can model a 6 axis arm that will grab a ball from the ground and put it in a box. Depending on how you want the arm to look like this will take me 2 to 5 days to get this done.
