Here's a brief description on what I'm trying to accomplish;
- User loads a page
- User enters details into a page
- The site gives an output from a database in a somewhat formatted way (More information on this later)
What I have done:
- User loads a page
- User enters details into a page
- The site gives an output from a database in a somewhat formatted way
The issue:
The search function goes through a database checking each row inside of a table, I need to display results in a somewhat formatted way, example being:
- Searches DB table with all rows, output ALL matching information. I can do this, though I want it formatted to the point after each row in a for loop it adds a button with a custom ID. As of right now all it does is gives the entire results with no way of adding buttons after each row.
The way I'm doing this (Example):
- Loads a database in [login to view URL] with SQLite3
- Selects the table
- Gets information on what the user enters
- Searching the table for the rows matching the users input
- Adds the results to the template as a list, Example:
[login to view URL]:
Results = []
...
for row in rows:
output = row[10]
[login to view URL](output)
...
for word in results:
word = [login to view URL](",")
[login to view URL](word)
...
return render(request, '[login to view URL]', {'results': new_results}
[login to view URL]:
...
{% for r in results %}
adds images here
{% endfor %}
With the for loop in the template, I'd need a way to pin point where new tables are added, add a "purchase" button after each row added. For example, row 1 has 5 images, after 5 images it added a button, row 2 has 17 images it adds a button after 17 images, ect.
Any help would be appreciated!

With the proposed budget and timeline, will rewrite the view and template so that it displays a button after each row of data as specified in the project description.
Please send me a message so we can discuss. Thank you
All you need to do is do 2 things:
1) Put pagination on your results.
2) Apply operations based on the row on which the user has clicked.
I've done the similar tasks so I can do it within the time domain.
I have created several projects one of them was in food tech, where I created two online portals one for customers to place the order and another for shopkeepers to take the orders. The backend of this project was built on Django and frontend using React.js. Through the robust management of the project, I accumulated a lot of knowledge and experience in Django. Would love to solve your doubt.
