I am writing to you today to put forward my proposal for the project that you placed on the freelancer website. I am realtively new to freelancer and to proofreading and editing, however, I feel that I am the ideal candidate for this position. I am a native Australian, and english speaker. I am proficient in both British (UK) and American (US) english. I currently reside in Brisbane, Australia. I am currently undertaking a certificate in proofreading and editing. I aim to have completed this by the end of the year. My grades stand at a distinction level. I have also completed a Bachelors degree in Psychology and I am confident in the use of the APA style of academic writing. I have completed a few small editing tasks and one full length novel. The novel took me 8 days to edit and I made over 15,000 individual edits. I am an avid reader, I have read more than 170 books in the last 18 months alone. I feel that my love for reading and reading speed gives me an advantage in this field. I am extremely flexible in my working hours and am available for an immediate start on this project.
