Industrial equipment packaging design – Part 2.

We are looking for a designer to complete the design of a plastic based pallets for industrial packaging. We have an existing structure for the bottom of the pallet and we want to have a creative design for the walls and roof structures to create a complete functional package. The structure should be consisting of limited number of parts (estimated 2 to max. 5) that can be compatible with our existing structure. The parts will have very similar functions, and therefore will have similar structures, and similar requirements. The project includes schematic design of the structure considering the size and strength requirements and also selection of the material regarding the constraints, and will present numerous challenges due to rigid requirements. The structure will need ton support, both static and specific dynamic forces. The designer should preferably have a background in mechanical engineering with knowledge in material science, industrial design or related experiences, and must possess strong problem solving and out of the box thinking capabilities. more details will be discussed upon signing the NDA.
