Many kinds too. for example, Google, Bing, and ebay product search, keyword search. Youtube video search. But in this project, I am wondering about general search system just like Google/Bing/Duckduckgo. Form what I've read long ago, When the very first time google came out to this world, Its searching engine's logic was based on Crawler. Which is software that scratching webpages in this world. But still not very sure how it got linked to Google's search engine system when its very early servicing days. Nowadays we find pretty much everything through search engines like them. Almost everything. But not as user's perspective, as the company's perspective who provide the search result, How do they find the original, crucial websites to list on their search engines? Let's say that There's original crucial websites that floating around world wide web. in order to make search engine in this environment, from the Search Engine company's perspective, I guess they go through process likewise below. 1) Search Engines grab those randomly floating webpages. (Don't know specificly how, still) through crawl bots. 2) Filter-process the acquired data. 3) Show the real-time filtered results to the search engine users. In a big frame, I believe it gets to be done like this. Okay and then, Please look down below questions which will be asking about details of the process. Question 1. in the rough process of above I wrote, how exactly 1) Search Engines grab those randomly floating webpages. (Don't know specificly how, still) through crawl bots. this process 1) does happen? How do they grab that randomly floating, didn't get listed websites? (Please be specific to answer on this question as much as possible. This is the most important question among all other questions) Question 2. In order make and operate search engines, if there's something that I'm not aware of, Please kindly note to me to broaden the view to proceed further process with you. Question 3. How the 2) filtering process is done generally? Question 4. What would be the expected cost to make such search engines, and to maintain the operation of it? If it could be varied to instances, please describe it as minimum value to maximum value. Question 5. Other theoretical suggestions are welcome. (already built software tool or websites that showing the categorized form webs) Note : If you already have developed a similar tool, this would be the best. Reward is only 30$. It's quite small in general view, But in this post I wanna get theoretical structure idea of these tools. Not demanding to build it right away.
