Fix and upgrade Magento 2.1.7

Hi There, Thank you for the opportunity You are looking for a Magento developer to complete the following task 1. Fix broken functionality. An upgrade was attempted but there were compatibility issues so the upgrade was reverted. This left behind some new files and now compile fails with multiple errors related to the new files. The website still works but some functionality is broken (like editing products in the back end). 2. Extension not working. A certain extension (Algolia Search) is installed and activated but not working. Probably this will be fixed after a compile. 3. Move the Magento shop to another folder on the server. Currently, the Magento shop is installed in the root of public_html. We are planning to host a few other websites on the same server and the .htaccess for Magento is conflicting with those other websites. Magento needs to be moved to a sub-folder and all the settings changed to maintain functionality, links, redirect rules etc. 4. Set up a copy of the website in another folder for testing purposes. 5. Upgrade Magento to the latest stable and compatible version (2.3.0 ?) and upgrade modules and the Porto theme (3.1.7 is the latest) as well, as long as functionality is not broken.
