Build a functionality in an Existing Project

There a project already developed in PHP Laravel. We want to implement a new feature that is Productivity Dashboard.
On dashboard there will be Calender and 8-19 tabs which contains list of activities with checkboxes and input field. User will select multiple activities from any of the tabs for the current date and previous days as well.
After storing the activities into DB, it should show marked on calender for the respective date.
