For a project, we are using the ESP8266 to transfer data to a web page. The web page is deployed on a web server and will show the data that are being pushed into the ESP8266.
The ESP8266 is interfaced by an AVR micro controller (not Arduino) and the AVR controller will send AT commands to the ESP8266.
Again: The ESP8266 will have the standard AT-command set firmware installed and not the Nodemcu firmware.
We need a freelancer that can help us make the web page show the data that is sent to the ESP8266 - simply make this work.
We need the following on the MCU side:
1. Data (or strings) which are needed to initialize the ESP8266
This strings will be sent from the air MCU to the ESP8266 on startup. We don't need AVR libs.
2. Examples on how the live strings are sent to the ESP8266.
The string might be for example the time and some counters. We need to know what at-commands should be used and how the data is sent to the ESP8266.
The ESP8266 will send these strings via wifi/ethernet to the web server.
We need the following on the web server side:
3. A simple WEB page showing the live data sent from the MCU (above).
The web page should be updated automatically either when new data is coming in, or every second.
It is important to keep everything as simple as possible. We prefer that the at-based firmware in the ESP8266 is used. However if you have good arguments for changing this to the Nodemcu, we are willing to change this.
We need a Freelancer that can work work with us on numerous projects we already have. Lots of AVR programming (we are currently using the atxmega128A4). Applications projects for iPhone & iPad are also coming up.
Hi, I am experienced with avr programming using CV AVR, and I am experienced with AT command to ESP8266. Why don't u just use webserver functionality on the ESP8266?
