Develop an extension for Joomla 3

We need to develop an extension for Joomla 3, simply we need search filters like this: [login to view URL] For doing some thing like this I believe we will need a component for adding articles and categories, so the filtering extension can read the values from articles. The filters should be flexible (we can add, rename and remove), it\'s okay if that\'s will be from the source code not from the back-end, as far as editing in source code will be simple. The extension should work with the latest Joomla version and the next versions until the end of version 3 (If that\'s not possible, you should provide free support when ever a new Joomla version is released until Joomla 3 is ended.
