Create a WordPress plugin for a custom post type and search feature

Hi, I am a web designer and I am looking for help from a WordPress Developer. I will be designing a website clone of [login to view URL] I don't need any help with the design but what I do need a developer's help with is a custom post type and search feature. Basically, I will need the users to be able to signup on the site with just their email and password. Once they have signed up, they will be able to register their dog(s) with the following info: 1. Dog Name 2. Dog Photo 3. Handler Name 4. Handler Photo (optional) 5. DOB of Dog 6. Registry Number. 7. Primary Function. 8. Medical Condition (optional) Each dog that is registered will be given an auto-generated random 10 digit ID # which can then be searched from the frontend of the site. So basically when any person searches a ID# they will see the following info: 1. Dog Name 2. Dog Photo 3. Handler Name 4. Handler Photo (optional) 5. DOB of Dog 6. Registry Number. 7. Primary Function. 8. Medical Condition (optional) The sigup on [login to view URL] is very lengthy and has too many steps. We will just have 2 steps for signup. Step #1 will just be a page with text that the user needs to agree to (I will create this page and redirect it to the registration page on submission) and Step#2 will ask for their email and pass. That's it! Once they have finished signing up with email and password, they will be able to login and see their profile with an option to "Register a Dog" (this is the custom post type). They should also be able to edit or delete dogs from their account. In summary, your job will be to create a profile page where the user can register their dog(s) and a search feature so any dog ID can be searched for. I am looking for this to be done by creating a custom plugin so that I don't have a problem updating my theme. Again, I don't need help with the design.
