Correct Bootstrap Modal Not Opening since ModRewrite SE Friendly URL's

I am using Dreamweaver CC 2014 to build a content management system. I am now implementing search engine friendly URLs using a .htaccess file and ModRewrite. On my test pages I am getting the page to display with the reflected search engine friendly URL. My problem is that my bootstrap modal is not opening and displaying the photograph enlargement. I believe it could be something related to either: 1. <base href=“” 2. My modal data-target=“” I need an expert solutionBut when I click on a thumbnail image, a bootstrap modal must open to display the image enlargement.
