In the same auto RSS-to-emails sent by Campaign Monitor from our 30+ Wordpress blogsites in our previous Project, we are having difficulties in getting a certain type of image to display.
It seems that re-used images from the Media Library are not displaying (eg in the 4th one "Hello there" in the test sent to you) - can you see a workaround?
Every week we post a "Hello there" story to each of our 30+ blogs which each use its same "_Welcome" graphic which we DO NOT re-upload each week but instead re-select from the existing media library (because it saves time having to individually upload files). In other words, there is a different "_Welcome" graphic in the Media Library of each blog that is found and inserted at the head of the story.
I have tried different files sizes and even tried "Featured Image" options but it is not working. Note: we want to avoid using "Featured Images" because this means more work for us and our customers every week - and we are all about convenience.
As a test, I uploaded a fresh version of the file for the top-most story as a test and it worked - but this is not an ideal solution (change of workflow for us and our clients).
Can you think of a reason why the re-used images would not work and if there is a better workaround than re-uploading? Plugin?
Also Campaign Monitor requires us to use the WP RSS Images plugin (see documentation here on how images need to be for RSS-to-email to work: [url removed, login to view]
Again, we need to be able to scale this solution to our 30+ (almost identical) blogs as we are growing this number over time (and I am not a coder) - so, plugin again?
Any idea on cost? Same as last time?
