I have extensive experience with Magento catalog imports and can build this on top of the core ImportExport module which is usually efficient enough for importing up to 10000 products. If you need to import more products at once or want to run it also during peak business hours we need to talk about alternative concepts. You will receive the extension as a tested and documented package. If you have a test system with your real data, I can also install it there for you. I will need credentials for the SOAP API. Other things I would need to know: which Magento version do you use? How are your indexes configured? Do you have multiple store views and languages? Do you need to import only simple products or also other product types like configurable products? Can all attributes from the source beside the category be mapped 1:1 on Magento attributes or are there other special rules? Please contact me to discuss the details.
