Websites to Program: 2 standard desktop (w/ scalability for tablet) and 2 for mobile smart phone
A. From completed and designed art boards laid out in Adobe Illustrator (all websites have already been designed by us), a website is to be coded into templates that can be easily updated through Expression Engine (EE), a content management system. We will provide you with the EE software and its plugins. If you are not familiar with EE, please visit their website [url removed, login to view]
B. For the 1st website we need 1 desktop, 1 tablet, and 1 mobile smart phone website built. There are 17 templates we need built for this website and 8 templates we need built for its mobile website version. The 2nd website will also need a desktop, tablet, and mobile version. The 2nd website will be a clone/copy of the first with only 20% Expression Engine matrix modification. It will basically deviate minimally from the 1st website in design.
C. Optimized photos, logos, and text will be provided by us.
D. Attached is a sample of instructions for the Standard website and a few examples of some of the pages we need for the Standard and Mobile website. The design has already been completed by us. We will provide the rest of the templates and detailed instructions once we have narrowed the field on who is suitable for the job. We will also provide the original illustrator files.
E. Both websites will need and be using the EE Content Management System so we can update the images and text ourselves.
F. This project will require clear daily communication and a strong knowledge of HTML and CMS.
G. You must work from our web host platform that has the EE software and plugins already installed. You will be using Expression Engine to build the website.
1. Basic Requirements needed from Developer
a. English Fluency a must
b. Daily communication of progress (Email or viewable progress on website)
c. Direct communication with programmer ( English Fluency a must)
d. Examples of prior work samples of website and view of back-end Content Management System
e. Ability to meet deadlines
f. Strong CMS background
g. Familiarity with SEO
2. Website Needs
a. Strong programming/design skills for easy to use Content Management System (Express Engine)
b. Website to be friendly for SEO very basic optimization for website & Blog (SEO will be done by other, but the website needs to be optimized for highest SEO key words architecture)
c. Google analytics setup
d. It must be easy to add pages and text content to EE matrix in the future (i.e. Website must be able to grow and expand)
e. We also need a way to link-up manage and catalog our products/vendors pages to google excel docs. It should be view able only to the admin and not to the public.
f. We will need a simply laid out and easily managed mobile website. Design is completed and will be provided.
g. Each page must load quickly and smoothly. The pages should not flicker while loading. See below for examples of efficient websites:

3. Deadlines and Payments
a. A 33% or 1/3 payment will be issued upon review of 1 page completion for each category listing from drop-down menu with EE Content Management System.
b. A 33% or 1/3 payment when all programming functions are completed reviewed and approved
c. Final payment will be issued when site is transferred to Owner and is fully working independently and all work is verified and acceptable.
d. Lack of daily communication will not be acceptable.
e. Developer must give a reasonable estimate of necessary lead time and stick to it.
