take over web development project from previous developer

We have an immediate need for a project that is abandoned by a previous developer. The original developer has abandoned the project because he has become employed by a very large company, works long hours, and no longer wishes to freelance. Objective: We are seeking a web developer to take over this project, with guidance from our systems administrator. The responsibilities will include: - Review of overall web application and review of how it works (we will help) - Map out a quick ASCII or a flowchart showing how the application works from start to finish, documenting all files involved, their server and physical location, how they play a role in the process clearly enough so that another developer will be able to determine how everything works if we hand over the project to another developer in the future - Create documentation for all of the programming, explaining which files are actively in use, which files are no longer in use. - Complete the coding requirements so that our application will work - Back up and clean up all old / unused files on all servers that are not in use so that they will not confuse a developer in the future. - Make future modifications on an as-needed basis, the changes can be done on flexible time without any particular deadline. Skill/Knowledge: HTML/XHTML/XML Classic ASP ASP.NET Basic MSSQL Some basic knowledge of [login to view URL] would be a plus but not necessary. Character Trait Requirements: You must consider yourself a good, experienced programmer You must work hard You must consider yourself a professional You must start this project immediately You must exclusively dedicate your time on this project until it is completed without any distraction of other projects from other clients. We want a dedicated programmer for this task. You must be able to estimate a deadline and stick to it You must be reliable in general (as in not disappearing on the project) You must have basic working knowledge of Microsoft Server 2003, such as setting up and configuring a virtual directory.
