build a multilanguage capable media trading site with social network components short overview: should be very lighweight and simple -> for lightweight example see [login to view URL] KISS - Keep it super simple based on php and mysql / hosted on linux development language in english, but templatebased that other languages can follow use cases: a user should be able to register (then send out email with verification link, once link is clicked user is verified) a user should then be able to setup his DVD collection (search for DVD (at amazon db ) add this dvd to his collection. if dvd or media title is not available at amazon then integrate the IMDB database or enter DVD as own datafile a user should be also able to invite friends to his \"network\". a user should be able to search for DVDs (or Medias) in his network including the friends of a friend. search also per location (where is the DVD at the moment, or what titles are in my neighbourhood). a user should then be able to start a borrow request (can I borrow this dvd yes/no) statusupdate of the media if available if borrowed from a friend of a firend the common friend acts as a trustperson. the system should keep track of where my dvds are at the moment. the system should send reminders when the dvd has to be back. later development: widgets for facebook, itunes, igoogle, rss feeds requirements: i need a quote for frontenddesign and programming. design should user the latest standards in web programming as seen in facebook or other ajax applications. development style: extreme programming [login to view URL] or waterfall modell [login to view URL] i am looking forward to a longer lasting relastionship once this plattform is launched. thanks, tom
