Wordpress Plugin Enhancements

I have a small custom Wordpress Plugin in development, which due to time constraints, I need some assistance finishing off. I have a lots of simple jobs, around half a day to a days work and I am looking to form a relationship with a trusted, diligent developer who I can use again and again. This is my first little tester.

Important things first:

Due to timewasters previously, I am having to impose some strict conditions on the development of this plugin. If you are not prepared to follow these conditions, please do not bid.

1) I expect realistic timescales to be set. If you do not meet the timescales you provide during the bidding process, there will be a fee penalty of 1% for every %point over time. I will allow a 20% contingency before the penalty kicks, but if this 20% contingency period is exceeded, the full 20% reduction in fee will be applicable.

2) If you go 50% or more over the budgeted time, I reserve the right to abandon the project and award to another bidder. All fees will be forfeited

3) The fee agreed is the fee I will pay. Requests for more money during development will be denied and I will - and have - abandon the project and award wholly to another bidder. All fees will be forfeited. Have confidence in your bid.

4) The plugin is to strictly follow the Wordpress Best Practice guide for coding standards which is published on the Wordpress Codex. If you think you can chop and paste code in multiple places for speed, it will be noticed, and work of that quality will not be paid for.

5) I am fanatical about code maintainability. Absolutely fanatical. I HATE unmaintainable code. I expect maintainable code.

6) If you bid, you accept these conditions form part of the terms of engagement.

7) If you complete this successfully, I will offer you the future work first, and there's lots of it.

OK, that's the serious stuff out of the way.

* I have a custom wordpress plugin is required to add person detail to posts.

* The plugin includes an admin settings menu which allows options to be added for this process, for example it allows the site administrator to set different life event types, and other things. This is simply a set of screens that allow CRUD operations on some of the admin tables - see screenshot.

* Currently the admin screen only allows a row to be created. This needs to be enhanced to include inline editing, deleting.

* This is expected to utilise AJAX to do this:

- click edit and a row becomes editable, the edit link changes to save

- click save and the row saves to the db

- click delete and "Are you Sure" message appears (NOT using alert() ). On confirm, row is deleted from the database

* The functions used to do this should be rewritten to be reusable for any particular table where possible

Dead easy!

Prove you can do this simple tester job to the standards I require (the standards any self respecting developer should be working to), and you'll get the rest of the jobs I have on this site.

And here's the final test - include these words somewhere in your bid: "These words prove I have read the spec". Miss those words out and I'll bin your bid - This is my test to see if you have read the spec (In my experience about 80% never do - don't be that guy!)
