Redesign Website

<p>I need someone to redesign the website at [[login to view URL]][1]. <p>Please review the site. Here are the changes that need to be made: <ul> <li>Improve the visual image of the site. It needs to capture the fun of Birthday University without the background picture. Use of current logo and the animation of the front page is desired. <li>Text based navigation, rather than the java script. <li>No frames for the site content. The banner ad spot at the top of the page should still be there and we would like to frame when you link to another site, but otherwise, no frames. <li>Improve use of CSS in the site. Eliminate unnecessary HTML. <li>Still need to use some javascript for managing seminar dates and such. <li>Keep following elements where appropriate: pictures of Frank Price, Quotes, logo, taglines (Learning the Remarkable Business...) </ul> <p>Detailed additional instructions will follow. <p>The designer that wins the bid will be expected to provide three unique concepts to show the end client. These can be mock-ups of the home page and do not have to be final HTML. Once the client selects one of these designs, the remainder of the HTML should be developed. Site has about 35 pages, but most are text-intensive and similar in look and feel. I will deliver clean text for each page. <p><b>DO NOT</b> submit template pages as your design. <p><b>DO NOT</b> copy another website. Designs are expected to be unique. <p><b>DO</b> submit samples or URLs of your past work. <p><b>DO</b> read the deliverable requirements. I will not authorize payment <p>Some knowledge of Java Script is required for this job. <p>Generic bids will be ignored. <p>Deadline is for submission of three mock-ups as descried above only. I will then submit artwork to the client. Because he is busy, it may take time to decide on which mock-up to use. Once the final design is selected, you will have 7 DAYS to complete the website. I will adjust the deadline accordingly. <p>A bonus will be paid for CLEAN HTML that is easy to review and update. I prefer HAND-CODED HTML, not HTML from tools such as Dreamweaver, Front Page, etc. ## Deliverables 1) Provide three mock-up designs for the Buyer to select from by deadline. Mock-ups can be static graphic files (jpg, etc.). 2) Follow listed instructions and any additional instruction for the make up of the site. 3) Provide complete and fully-functional web site including Java Script in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 4) Final website must be usable (legible with no errors or omissions) in the requested browsers/OS's. 5) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables will be installed and tested by Buyer. 6) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Final website must be usable in the following browsers: Windows and Mac IE 5.0+, Netscape 6.0+, AOL Browser, Mozilla, KHTML-based browsers for Mac/Linux.
