We have an existing C++ library dealing with 3D geometry, which needs to be integrated into Matlab. This project uses Matlab standard C++ code integration methods, including the Mex Wrappers. The interface should allow common geometric shapes in Matlab to be passed across the interface to our library for processing. Geometric shapes should include points, lines, triangles, polygons, colors. The resulting source code should build without errors or warnings on Windows XP, Visual Studio 2005, and current versions of Matlab (7.x). Full class documentation is avaialbe within our library code base to assist development. We will not supply sample input data to the coder, we expect coder to assemble suitable Matlab .m script code to create geometric objects. Bidders will be told the actual C++ library website details on request. A temporary 30-day license key for using the library will be issued to allow development. You will not have source code of the library, but example C++ source programs which use the library are available for reference. The deliverable is the core library integration with Matlab, plus a series of functional test example .m scripts, with good comments. A technical implementation report describing the interface architecture is also needed. Prerequisites: Visual Studio 2005 C++ Compiler, Windows XP, Matlab Skills: Strong C++ programming experience, 3D Geometry, Matlab, Good systematic development skills, 3D mathematics and geometric transformation skills helpful, familiarity with 3D graphics APIs. Coder Project Request: 1. Download our C++ library, agree to terms 4. Adapt code from one or more of our existing sample interfaces to hook into Matlab. 5. Document technical implementation, 4. Provide sample .m scripts with good comments 6. Supply source ready to build out-of-the-box.
## Deliverables
Source code, ready for build and test, technical documentation: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
