**PROJECT MUST BE PERFORMED ONSITE IN MILWAUKEE WISCONSIN _Crystal Enterprise 11.0: _**Most reports are in access which need to be transitioned to crystal. There are some folks on staff who have training but they are new at it. Will be building dynamic reports which is where the challenge comes in. Current employees have no practical experience and there is no documentation on reports built in access so this person also needs to have strong analytical skills. Start ASAP and complete project by end of May. Need to integrate some of these reports to the web application described below. **_1 Senior Application Architect and1 Application Developer_** Need an application architect that knows front end, middle layer and integration on backend. Will be using SQL server for backend. Both developers will partner with the data architect but the senior person will provide the direction on the application architect initially and then pull back to let the developer work with the data architect. The senior person will be needed periodically after this first initial stage but they will be playing a true Architect role to provide leadership and SOME development but the majority of the development for the project will be done by the Developer. Need some significant application architecture leadership as there is a ton of Microsoft Access applications that have been used as silos for supporting customers which need to be integrated into one system on a SQL Server database. Need to get rid of these single silo applications. See below for more. ## Deliverables **PROJECT MUST BE PERFORMED ONSITE IN MILWAUKEE WISCONSIN** Crystal enterprise person for reporting will work on parts of this project for integrating web reports to some of these applications. The end application is an extranet that is used by both external customers and internal users. This has been previously developed in ASP classic and wish to upgrade to .NET and integrate with crystal enterprise and also create some standard features for exporting to Excel, Access, PDF and others. Also want to make this application more data driven using SQL server as a backend. Finally looking to potentially add some automation and shared components. There are some new business requirements that need to be considered for the new development aspects of this project that will run in the background as well relating to middle layer and automation. Again, the main issues being resolved revolve around replacing lots of solutions that were put in place and customized on a stand-alone, customer by customer basis with no standards in place for application development. Some experience with data warehousing environments would be helpful but the data warehouse development experience is not necessary as thre ise a data warehouse expert on staff. Miscellaneous needs: someone who has experience working with UNIX systems running Cobol program as there is some work required manipulating programs from ISAM files. No need to be a Cobol programmer just familiar with flat file usage. Pilot project will be conducted to provide fmailiarity to environment. DELIVERABLES 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
