Set up Awstats

Hi,

I need Awstats log analyzer set up on a site. It must run from within the site itself and the stats must be publicly accessible. The site is being hosted by [url removed, login to view] who seems to be completely unwilling to help accomplish this. It's on an Apache server running Free BSD os (I think it's called), more detailed server specs are available in needed.
