SR SOFTWARE ENGINEER LEAD (MULTIPLE POSITIONS)

**ONLY FOR COLOMBIA** Your Responsibilities in the Role of Lead Engineer: Demonstrate the ability to individually deliver any phase of the software lifecycle. Demonstrate the ability to support and guide teammates towards delivering measurable results. Proactively provide guidance to your teammates on strategic direction as appropriate. Experience mentoring more junior developers. Experience leading multiple tracks of technical work. Experience working with various Cloud Platforms (AWS). Strong advocate of DevOps, and hands-on experience with DevOps tools and test automation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and business-facing. Experience in modern software architectural principles and patterns (REST, domain-driven design, microservices, etc.) Demonstrable success working on a highly collaborative team. Experience addressing issues in unfamiliar technology and tenacity to solve from root causes. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Qualifications: -5+ years of experience in software development. -Several years of professional experience in design, development & testing back end applications in NodeJS or similar. -Several years of experience in design, development & testing of front-end applications using React, Angular or similar. -Experience leading collaborative design and architecture sessions with artifacts expressed as high level design documents. -Several years of professional experience delivering solutions running on the Java Virtual Machine. -Several years of professional experience deploying to and maintaining systems running on AWS. -Adept at systems routing (ingress & egress) including familiarity with standards for networking and security. -Professional experience delivering solutions written in Scala (esp the Akka framework). -Professional experience with AWS LoadBalancers, EC2s, and CloudFormation in the AWS China partition.
