The requirement as you explained at a high level seems fairly straightforward though, so I'm more interested in what other functionality you may require in addition to just displaying the scanned players. Will names be printed as a barcode or will there be an identifier that corresponds to the player's name? Meaning you scan the barcode and then just see if there is other players in that session and show them all up? Btw what exactly do you mean when you say Session? Please clarify. Thx

I am an Excel expert highly proficient in VBA macros; my previous experience has involved delivering multiple Excel VBA projects to numerous clients including FTSE100 based companies. I am a native English speaker so nothing will get lost in translation. I have previously written a barcode tracking application in Excel for a UK governmental department so I have my library of code that I can deploy to make this a reliable solution. What version of Office are you using? This can run inside Excel so that it stores the data and then whenever you scan can report how many times they've been scanned in that session. It will also store their historic data so you can design and run reports over the data as you so wish. The VBA will be fully documented inline so that will there for your reference and to allow you to modify it going forward. I presume you have a standard bar code scanner that scans data into a text field by pretending to be a keyboard? What version of Excel do you use?
