Request for Quote: Develop an iOS App for Messaging
Looking for a developer with knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to develop a great iOS app.
Requirements, specifications, notes:
· Build an iOS app with Swift2 to facilitate messaging using our gateway through a Rest API
· An iOS app that runs on minimum iOS V8 (iPhone, iPad, iPod).
· We will provide the requirements - specifications, functional flow diagrams, wireframes, design etc.
· A Github repository will be provided for versioning and code management - daily commits/push will be expected to track progress.
· Developer to assist until the app is reviewed successfully by Apple and available on the AppStore.
· No hardware or devices will be provided for development and testing.
Quality attributes:
· Performance: The app must be nimble, clean and quick.
· Usability: Ease of use, an intuitive experience inline with current/best practice and app trends. Minimal navigation to access the various features.
· Retention of state: State should be retained for most of the send message function.
· Robustness: The app must be stable across all devices, not crash.
· Testability - Developer must provide code with Unit and Functional tests. We must be able to test all functionality of the app.
Features to be included in the app:
· OAuth1.0a implementation (user remains logged in until they log out) .
· Check account balance - account balance to display on most screens.
· Send message with multiple options - send to a number or contact or contacts group (with an option to schedule).
· Confirmation of message sends - Display: “Your message has been sent.”
· Reports - Incoming and outgoing message reports.
· Settings - Logout and about, terms of use, privacy policy (more options to be added in future versions)
