After reading description from Syncplay site I could barely understand how the way data(record/playlists/screenshots/videos) that the user like and wants to share with their friends and social media followers immediately through app. Regarding file upload delaying on web, I believe that it doesn't happening for bad connection type. Therefore it seems, may be your old Dev used some bad protocol like SOAP-based web services where the complexity of doing a full SOAP-based parse on the mobile client is high and not well supported there. Or may be they used XML based scheme where today the standardised encoding format is JSON There’s probably a way we can do from the app side using AVAssetExportSession or AVAssetWriter to Compress the file without Low Quality or keeping the original quality of video/image. Using AVCaptureSession and AVAssetWriter we can set the manual compression settings on a file which will be uploaded. Or there will be an other way to optimize uploading performance, is Firebase Realtime Database performance for realtime data upload. It's much faster than MySql/PGSql server. But it may be hard at this situation but if you agree then let me know Regarding Notification, can you please let me know what technology is being used in your app? APNS or FCM?
