I worked at Fidelity Investments for 15 years and started there Business Intelligence team which managed around 75 mission critical Access Databases for the firm. We categorized each and created a strategy whether that be to keep them as-is, upsize to SQL Server or Oracle, migrate to a web app, etc. I can also provide you an example database which I recently created such has a complete data model, forms, reports, queries, and lots of vba code all authored by me.
