BUILD FOR ME A TEN SEATER AIRCRAFT

We are interested in starting up an aircraft manufacturing industry in Uganda. Starting with small aircraft to bigger ones. The designer or candidate must be aware that we are starting from scratch, as nothing exists in form of infrastructure for such a project. One has to develop this aircraft without access to high-quality manufacturing tools and process, The project will be based in Mbarara, near Mbarara airfield, of Western Uganda. It is important that those who apply know that they will have to sit in Uganda for a long time. We are not able to pay per hour, but per project. We shall negotiate a fee from beginning to end and pay pro rata. We are not able to talk about range requirements at the moment but such a plane will be used for domestic travel and be prepared to spend at least two hours in the sky. The airfield we have is one-kilometer non-bitumen and is capable of handling up to 45 tons. The designer will also think of the material to use, although Aluminum is readily available and we are not sure of composite since the whole idea is to use as much local materials as possible even laminated wood may be considered. We shall be looking for a glass cockpit and basic avionics. We are in the tropics and the designer must answer the question of whether we use a turboprop or turbofan engine. Therefore the candidate must know about aerospace engineering, have aircraft design, aerodynamics (subsonic}, aircraft performance, aircraft stability, control and aircraft structure design experience. I have attached many of our works. Many other works are not possible to publish here, because they are propriety of the company. Operational Requirements report, where the final user needs will be taken into account and will set the basis for the whole project, leading the design to the real customer satisfaction Our company is interested in developing an aeronautical products in Uganda, this undertaking is aimed at giving us an infrastructure with qualified workers, local content suppliers, experienced artisans and capacity to intervene in the dire domestic travel difficulties that our country has. We shall need about three weeks to talk to our bosses and partners to be able to give a formal response and contract. Our thoughts in this project is that it will probably require somebody retired, or an adventurist since it may require a lot of patience. The Soviet Union built over 20,000 warplanes during the WW2 in a space of three years. Most of the support workers were very young people, old women since men were off to war. Things have improved now my thought, our thoughts that could be erroneous, is that we can do what they did or better with today’s circumstances.
