Hello. I've ever used the matlab function bwlabel() which labels 4 and 8 neighborhood connected components in an image When I developed fingerprint recognition. In this project, I used bwlabel() function for minutiae detection. And in order to embed this software in sensor device, I converted matlab code to c code, so I converted matlab bwlabel() to c function. For implementing this function, I'll use BFS algorithm and queue as data structure. I'm sure I'll complete this project perfectly. I'd like to discuss with you further about taking this project on.
