Be good looking
Behave appropriately whether displayed to the viewer while initialized or contained inside of a display: none element (such as a bootstrap modal).
Support multiple, different slideshows on the same page.
Display a series of photos given through arguments as urls.
Allow user to cycle forward and backward using arrow buttons on either side of the screen.
Be mobile compatibile
Have sliding transition between slides.
Have a control function that switches the slideshow instantly to a specified slide
Have a series of features that can be independently enabled or disabled either in the arguments or through control functions (preferably both):
Automated cycling through photos (with selectable duration for each photo)
Ken Burn effect
Progress bar on bottom showing progression through slideshow
Bar on bottom showing thumbnails of as many photos as will cleanly fit within the width of the page, with the ability to scroll from side to side in order to see more thumbnails, and switch to the corresponding slide on click/tap.
Catalog effect on thumbnail bar (center image largest, images to side smaller)
Display a text description on the top of the page, and over thumbnails on mouse hover
Full screen toggle.
