We are a property developer who sells land and house & land packages in Sydney. We need some lot plan flyers created - the lot plans have been provided by the surveyors and we need them dropped into a template which we have created (there are 2 templates – one for standard lots and one for corner lots). The templates are A4 single sided. We will provide the indesign files for the 2 templates. We will provide a PDF doc which includes all the lot plans from the surveyors - you will extract them from here to put them into the template. We will provide a spreadsheet showing you which lot plans you need to add to the template. You will need to create one lot flyer first for our approval before we get you to roll out the others. We need the final files outputted as such: - The packaged indesign file of all lots in lot number order (lowest to highest) - A PDF file of all lots in lot number order (lowest to highest) - An individual PDF file of every single lot At this point in time we need between 100 and 150 plans. Unfortunately we need this rather urgently. But we will have this kind of work often, so ideally we are looking for someone we can call on at short notice to complete the task. Hi there, Thank you for considering my proposal. So in total you have 155 lots that need to be placed in your 2 InDesign templates. How urgent do you need this done? What I'm going to do is to create all the pages in a single InDesign file, will use master page feature for header, footer, legend and all the information that repeats through out the lots. Also if you don't mind, I will completely remove the "lot #" on the sides instead of placing boxes on top of them. boxes will have a different color than your paper and might leave marks in the final print which will make it look very unprofessional. The only thing I didn't quite get was the scaling part, could you please elaborate a little more on that please? Also my deliverables will be an InDesign file properly created with master page and pages named after lot#, a single PDF file containing all the lots, separate PDF files for each lot named after lot#. Single InDesign file will make it so much easier to edit and keep the consistency through out all the PDFs and will be less confusing for the next designer if you want to edit the file in future.
