The purpose of the app is to make keeping a diary and easy,
efficient, and fun experience. This is accomplished with simple screens that can be
read with minimal effort. Users are required to sign in with their Facebook account.
Friends should be pulled from the Facebook account as well as ‘groups’ to allow for
easy sharing. Sharing is done in two ways; Tagging and sharing. Sharing posts your
post (text, audio, or video entry) on your “Thread” allows those posts to be seen by
just you(private), groups (customized), or public based on what the user decides.
Tagging allows your posts to be shared on your friend’s “Thread.” Sharing can be
temporary, tagging cannot. All tags must be approved by the person being tagged
before the post shows up on their Thread. Groups are created by the user, and differ
from user to user. Thus there is no form of commenting on a user’s post, however
you are able to make a text entry and tag the initial poster as a form of adding to
their post or commenting per say. Groups allow for easy sharing with multiple
friends. Recall contains all of the users information, and only the entries they create
or have been tagged in and approve. The “Thread” includes both the entries the user
creates and the entries they are tagged in by friends. Recall is the user’s diary. Their
Recall diary contains all the entries they’ve ever made in a chronological order, they
search through the log with a magnifying glass that will highlight pictures/titles of
entries.
