display account information after making edits to data

I have submitted a form after editing the data in the fields. I need to redirect the user to a separate view where a summary of the account information is displayed. I am not sure how to display the page because it requires me to pass a unique identifier to a controller and then display the view. I hope to have this done in the next couple hours. I can only use [login to view URL] because it would take to long for one of you to set up the solution on your local host. I am more than happy to show you what the exact problem is if you have time since it's a problem I cant describe all that well.
